Background | Grangetown Local History Society comprises a group of people with an interest in local history. Established in 1997, the Society displays photos, slideshows and audio memories at local community events and fairs, including the annual Grangetown Festival. It has also taken part in local and family history fairs and exhibited at the local library. It is involved in an ongoing audio history project, collecting memories from Grangetown people and collects photographs of the local area. The Society has published a series of books on the Grangetown area. It also collects records relating to Grangetown. |
