About Canfod

Canfod, our online catalogue, is a finding aid to Glamorgan Archives' holdings. It contains descriptions of material that can be viewed in the public searchroom. New descriptions are regularly added of material recently received or recently catalogued.

Many collections have been described at different levels, so you will find descriptions of whole collections, but also descriptions of individual items.

We are working on digitising some of the pictorial items in the Collection, and thumbnails of these images will be hosted on Canfod.

Canfod contains not only descriptions of our archive holdings, but also material that is on open access in the searchroom library. Items in the library can be identified by their document reference which will start 'Lib'.
